Frequently Asked Questions

Screen colours are useful as a visual guide, but they cannot guarantee an exact representation of the physical paint. Brightness, calibration, contrast and surrounding light can all alter how a shade appears. Use the appropriate physical colour reference where precise matching matters.

Yes. Because the paint is custom mixed, testing a small area first gives you a chance to check both the colour and the finish before committing to the entire job. If something doesn't look right, contact us before applying the paint more widely.

Not every paint system or project requires a separate clear lacquer. Whether one is appropriate depends on the colour, paint system, desired appearance and level of protection required. Check the information for the paint you've selected or contact us if you're unsure.

Before applying your paint: because each colour is mixed to order, we recommend carrying out a small test first and checking that the colour and finish are suitable for your project. If you have any concerns, please get in touch before applying the paint more widely.

A colour viewed on a phone, tablet or monitor may not look exactly the same as the physical paint. Screen calibration, brightness and lighting conditions can all influence the way a shade is displayed.
