Morris Minor Car Paint paint is prepared to order from the vehicle colour code entered above. You can order a 400ml aerosol in either 1K base coat or 2K direct gloss, a 60ml, 100ml or 250ml 1K tester pot, or a 20ml 1K touch-up pen.
For stone chips and very small marks, a touch-up pen can be the simplest option. Tester pots give you more material for small repairs or colour testing, while the aerosol formats provide more even coverage over larger areas when applied correctly.
Good preparation helps prevent common problems with adhesion and finish. Remove dirt, road film, wax and grease, repair any damaged substrate and sand the area as required. Where bare material is exposed, use a primer suitable for that substrate before applying the colour coat.
The 1K aerosol is a base-coat system and will normally need clear lacquer as the final stage. The 2K aerosol produces its gloss as part of the coating itself. Always follow the appropriate application and safety guidance for the system you choose.
Always check the mixed colour before committing to a visible repair. Sunlight, age, environmental exposure and previous refinishing can all affect how the existing paint appears compared with the original manufacturer colour specification.
