Product Description

Part of the RAL Design colour system, RAL 100 90 50 offers a precise reference for projects where colour choice forms an important part of the overall design. We custom mix the colour to order, allowing you to choose the paint type and finish appropriate for your project.

Rather than supplying one fixed specification, we mix RAL 100 90 50 according to the options you select. Paint types include Cellulose, Acrylic Enamel and Synthetic Enamel, with 1K, 2K and 2K Air-Dry systems available where applicable.

The finish can be tailored too, with gloss levels ranging from 0% Full Matt to 90% Full Gloss. Check the configurator above for the sizes and formats currently offered for this particular colour.

Optional UV Protection and High Resistance are available where shown above. If you select an aerosol format, the can is fitted with a vari-nozzle so you can switch between wider and narrower spray patterns while working.

Frequently Asked Questions

1K paint is a single-component system and is generally simpler to use. 2K systems use a hardener and are chosen where greater durability or resistance may be required. The right option depends on the surface, environment and intended use, so check the product information and relevant safety instructions before choosing.

Choose the gloss level according to the appearance you're trying to achieve or the finish you're trying to match. Full gloss gives the greatest shine, satin provides a softer sheen, and matt finishes reduce reflection. If you're matching an existing surface, compare the sheen as well as the colour.

Start by measuring the approximate area you need to cover and allow for more than one coat. A 400ml aerosol can cover roughly 2 square metres per coat as a guide, but complex shapes, overspray, surface texture and colour changes can increase the amount needed.

Before applying your paint: because each colour is mixed to order, we recommend carrying out a small test first and checking that the colour and finish are suitable for your project. If you have any concerns, please get in touch before applying the paint more widely.

A colour viewed on a phone, tablet or monitor may not look exactly the same as the physical paint. Screen calibration, brightness and lighting conditions can all influence the way a shade is displayed.
