Product Description

RAL 270 70 20 comes from the RAL Design Colour Chart, a range created with detailed colour selection and design-led projects in mind. It is well suited to decorative work, interior and exterior features, furniture and refinishing where a specific colour reference has been chosen.

Your paint is custom mixed to order using Lechler colour materials and binders. Choose from Cellulose, Acrylic Enamel and Synthetic Enamel, together with applicable 1K, 2K and 2K Air-Dry options.

You can also choose the level of sheen required, from Full Matt (0%) through to Full Gloss (90%). The sizes, formats and paint systems currently available for RAL 270 70 20 are shown in the configurator above.

Where available, UV Protection and High Resistance can be added to suit the demands of your project. Aerosol versions use an adjustable vari-nozzle with wide and narrow spray patterns for greater control during application.

Frequently Asked Questions

Suitability depends on the paint type, paint system, surface and preparation method. Metal, plastic, wood and other materials can have different requirements, so make sure the chosen system and any primer are suitable for the material you're working with.

Lighter coats are easier to control and allow the colour to build more evenly. Applying too much paint at once can increase the chance of runs, uneven drying and an inconsistent surface. Build coverage gradually and allow appropriate time between coats.

Check that you've selected the correct colour, paint type, system and gloss level for the job. Make sure the surface has been prepared properly, confirm whether a primer or lacquer is required, and read the application and safety information for the products you're using before you begin.

Before applying your paint: because each colour is mixed to order, we recommend carrying out a small test first and checking that the colour and finish are suitable for your project. If you have any concerns, please get in touch before applying the paint more widely.

A colour viewed on a phone, tablet or monitor may not look exactly the same as the physical paint. Screen calibration, brightness and lighting conditions can all influence the way a shade is displayed.
