1K Clear Plastic Primer 400ml is a fast-drying adhesion promoter designed to help primers and topcoats bond securely to a wide range of plastic surfaces. Its transparent finish makes it ideal where you want to improve adhesion without introducing a coloured primer layer beneath the subsequent coating.
Suitable for many commonly used automotive and industrial plastics, including PP, PP/EPDM, ABS, SAN, PC, PA, PUR-RIM, R-TPU, PPO, PBT, PUR flexible foam and UP-GF plastics. Once dry, it can be overcoated with a compatible primer or topcoat, making it a versatile preparation product for plastic repairs, refinishing and restoration work.
The quick-drying formulation helps keep preparation times down, with the surface typically ready for overcoating within 15–30 minutes depending on temperature, humidity and film thickness.

Typical drying times:
- Dust free: 5–10 minutes
- Touch dry: 10–20 minutes
