Product Description

1K Wood Primer 400ml is a high-build, fast-drying primer designed to provide a strong, even foundation before applying your chosen finishing coat. Its alkyd-based formulation makes it suitable for both interior and exterior applications and is ideal for preparation work where good coverage and efficient drying are important.

The rapid drying time allows multiple coats or subsequent stages of the painting process to be completed within the same day, helping reduce overall preparation time. Its high-build properties also help create a more uniform surface before topcoating.

Although particularly suited to wood, this versatile primer can also be used on suitably prepared metal, GRP and aluminium. On compatible metal surfaces it also provides useful anti-corrosive protection, making it suitable for a wide range of restoration, maintenance and refinishing projects.

The primer can be overcoated with compatible 1K and 2K finishes, giving you flexibility when selecting the final coating system.
